Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heath Red Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Brock Lesnar. Heath Red Rage struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 267.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Red Rage shows good takedown defense.
Lesnar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Red Rage throws a body kick that misses.
Lesnar blocks the body kick.
Red Rage defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lesnar.
Red Rage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lesnar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Heath Red Rage has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Red Rage slips under a jab.
Red Rage thows a left - swing and a miss!

Lesnar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Red Rage looks gassed!
Lesnar cracks Red Rage with a big right hand but Red Rage just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Red Rage seems a little lost for a moment, as Lesnar dominates the positioning.
Red Rage takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Lesnar is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Red Rage will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Red Rage takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Red Rage can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lesnar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Red Rage is letting Lesnar control him for a moment.
Lesnar is putting a hurting on Red Rage here, landing some big shots from side control.

Lesnar has hold of Red Rage's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Red Rage seems comfortable defending it but Lesnar has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Red Rage is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Red Rage is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lesnar couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brock Lesnar!
