Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rex Munroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex Munroe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to William Harrison's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rex Munroe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, William Harrison! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Harrison postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Harrison working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Harrison looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munroe keeps working. Harrison postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Harrison controls the position from side control. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harrison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Munroe struggling a bit here. Harrison controls the position. Munroe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harrison on the ground. Harrison landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Munroe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A lull in the action here. Harrison goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Munroe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Harrison but great work by Munroe. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Munroe trying to control the action but Harrison is working from the bottom. Harrison stuck in half guard on the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Harrison dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Harrison shoots in for a takedown but Munroe shows good takedown defense. Harrison fails with the takedown. Harrison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Munroe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rex Munroe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Harrison. Munroe catches Harrison napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Harrison to the canvas!
It looks like William Harrison has been cut. Munroe trying to control the position from guard on top but Harrison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harrison is breathing heavily. Harrison is trying to control the position but Munroe postures up.

We're going to have a standup here because Rex Munroe wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Munroe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munroe scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Harrison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Munroe digs a good body shot into Harrison's ribs. Munroe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Munroe throws a good cross that connects.

Horrible takedown by Harrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Munroe which made him look bad. Munroe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Munroe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Harrison on the side of the head. Munroe ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Munroe is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Munroe is looking to wear down Harrison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Munroe lands with a shot to the body. William Harrison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Good exchange - Munroe coming out on top.
That has opened up William Harrison's cut even more. Rex Munroe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Harrison takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Harrison shoots in but no luck this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Munroe lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harrison backs up against the cage.
Munroe with a body punch. A glancing blow. William Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Munroe stalks Harrison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harrison's face. Harrison staggers backwards, shaken. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rex Munroe dominated that second round. The cut man is working on William Harrison's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Harrison takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Munroe throws a right and a left that both miss. Harrison gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Munroe connects with the punch. Munroe stuffs the takedown. Harrison drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Munroe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harrison pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Munroe is keeping the position for now. Harrison is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Harrison drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Munroe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Harrison has Munroe in his guard. Harrison is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Munroe defends well.

Harrison trying to control from half guard but Munroe is working away.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rex Munroe. I think Munroe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
