Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Putzke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Johansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putzke comes to the cage accompanied by Nookie. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson tries for a takedown but Putzke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Johansson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Johansson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Putzke backs up against the cage.
Johansson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Putzke circles away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Johansson cracks Putzke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Scott Putzke will probably get the nod.
That's time! Putzke's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fight stays on the outside here - Putzke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Scott Putzke.
