Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Masterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Seffar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seffar has chosen Duke Arrives as his entrance music. The key to victory for James Masterson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Masterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Seffar! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seffar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Masterson pinned against the cage. Masterson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Masterson tries a head kick but it misses.
Masterson works over Seffar's head and body with a nice combination. Masterson looks to score with a jab to the body but Seffar is just out of range. Seffar shoots in and bounces Masterson off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Masterson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Seffar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Masterson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masterson is adopting a defensive guard. Masterson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Masterson keeping moving, preventing Seffar from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Seffar is stalling in the full guard. Masterson trying to keep a closed guard but Seffar is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Masterson misses with a wild body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Masterson lands a front kick. Seffar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Seffar tries to bum rush Masterson with a series of wild strikes but Masterson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Seffar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masterson moves away. Seffar wants to clinch. Masterson swings for the body but Seffar moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by Masterson. Masterson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Masterson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Seffar blocks the body kick.
Masterson misses the shot to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Seffar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Seffar walks forward, straight into a front kick from Masterson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Masterson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Seffar takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jab from Masterson. Masterson with a nice cross. Masterson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Masterson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Masterson scores with a kick to the body.
James Masterson is winning the standup battle so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Seffar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Masterson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Masterson is looking to wear down Seffar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Masterson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Seffar is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seffar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Seffar looks to throw the jab but Masterson is out of range. A nice combination there by Masterson.
James Masterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masterson connects with a nice looking jab.

Seffar swings and misses with a shot to the body and Masterson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A slapping leg kick lands for Masterson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Seffar blocks a head kick by Masterson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seffar drops his hands momentarily and Masterson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A head kick misses from Masterson. Masterson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Seffar on the side of the head. Masterson scores with a punch to the head.
Seffar is rocked! Masterson lands a brutal uppercut that launches Seffar off his feet! Seffar tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Masterson!
