Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Training Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Gass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Training Partner! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gass connects with a high kick. Partner throws a head kick but Gass moves out of range.
A head kick by Partner misses and Gass counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Partner throws a chopping leg kick but Gass manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Gass lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Partner at a distance.
Gass wants to clinch up but Partner keeps it at a distance. Partner shoots and misses so Gass counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Partner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gass is one step ahead there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Partner has a closed guard, preventing Gass from standing up. Gass gets to his feet. Partner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Partner misses with a takedown and Partner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Partner fails with the takedown and Gass counters with a two punch combo. Kyle Gass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Training Partner.
That's one minute gone in the round. Partner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gass connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gass clinches up with Partner and pushes him back against the ropes. Partner can't get the takedown.
Gass drags the fight down to the ground.
Gass controls Partner momentarily but Partner frees himself. Gass avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Partner tries to free his leg and advance position but Gass is retaining full guard. Partner throws a big right hand that misses. Partner missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Partner won't allow Gass to get back to his feet. Partner stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Gass throws up his legs and catches Partner in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Partner tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Gass! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Kyle Gass!
