Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amsel Sotiar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billa Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bong has chosen Dead Man Walking- The Die Hunns as his entrance music. Billa Bong is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

It looks like Billa Bong has been cut.

Sotiar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bong manages to get himself to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bong connects with a nice short shot to Sotiar's temple.

Sotiar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sotiar, into his guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sotiar holds on and takes a little breather.
Sotiar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bong can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bong is refusing to be controlled, as Sotiar sits in half guard.
Bong is trying to maintain the position but Sotiar is very close to passing his half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bong shoots in for a double leg but Sotiar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Bong counters with a single leg into guard. Sotiar didn't expect that.
Billa Bong has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sotiar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bong!
Bong wants to control but Sotiar is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sotiar wants to control the pace but Bong is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billa Bong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sotiar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bong rolls with it to try and escape but Sotiar cranks on the arm and Bong is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
