Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between I Fights (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Baduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fights kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rudies all Around. 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Baduk! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fights scores with a takedown into Baduk's guard. Fights drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baduk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baduk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baduk! Baduk swings around for an armbar but Fights sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Baduk's guard. Fights drops back looking for a leg! Baduk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baduk manages to kick Fights off! Fights jumps back into Baduk's guard. Baduk wants to stand up but Fights is controlling him. Fights postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Baduk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fights, into his guard. Fights is looking for a triangle but Baduk pushes his legs off easily.

Baduk drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fights manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Baduk has Fights in his guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fights postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Baduk preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fights throwing strikes from guard but Baduk blocks nicely. Fights forces his way into half guard. Fights is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baduk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fights throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Baduk keeping moving, preventing Fights from controlling successfully. Fights drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Baduk dives on top into guard. Baduk has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fights to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Baduk is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fights pulls down on the head and he's put Baduk to sleep! This one is all over!
