ONeill comes to the cage accompanied by "Sticky Icky" - Bizzy Bone. Mickey ONeill has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mickey ONeill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Veli Schwarzeneg! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ONeill misses with a jab, cross combination.
ONeill throws a nice looking combination but Schwarzeneg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. ONeill throws a series of punches but Schwarzeneg moves out of range. Schwarzeneg is looking to clinch. Mickey ONeill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwarzeneg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says ONeill as he avoids it easily. ONeill keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. ONeill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The ref makes him back up and allows ONeill to get to his feet. Schwarzeneg fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ONeill sprawls well initially but Schwarzeneg persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

ONeill trying to work for an americana but Schwarzeneg has managed to regain full guard.

ONeill is keen to just control but Schwarzeneg is a slippery customer. Schwarzeneg missing with punches from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwarzeneg misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Schwarzeneg walks into a jab. Schwarzeneg doesn't succeed with the takedown and ONeill counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Schwarzeneg's guard now. Schwarzeneg is looking to stand up but ONeill isn't so interested in that idea. ONeill throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. ONeill is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. ONeill forces his way into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. ONeill lands strikes from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Schwarzeneg has ONeill pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. ONeill manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. ONeill drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Schwarzeneg gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Schwarzeneg creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through ONeill's defenses. ONeill has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Schwarzeneg clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Schwarzeneg is trying to get back to his feet but ONeill has full control of the position and if anything, Schwarzeneg has just worked his way into a worse spot. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Schwarzeneg looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. ONeill is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

ONeill is working the ground and pound. Can Schwarzeneg escape? Schwarzeneg covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
ONeill has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Schwarzeneg. ONeill working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Schwarzeneg is doing well to defend. ONeill seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Schwarzeneg is forced to tap and this one is over!
