Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kraken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Davol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Davol's choice of entrance music: Rammstein - Links 2 3 4. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Kraken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Davol! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraken fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davol manages to avoid it. Davol throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Davol walks into a jab.
It looks like Bruno Davol has been cut. Kraken waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Davol. Davol defending well as Kraken loads up on a big left hand. Davol looks to score with a jab to the body but Kraken is just out of range. Davol throws an overhand right that lands on Kraken's shoulder, as Kraken tries to avoid the shot. Kraken jabbing away but nothing is landing. Davol throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kraken throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kraken misses with an uppercut. Davol saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davol throws a combination that misses and Kraken counters with a straight right hand. The fighters circling - Kraken throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Davol misses with a double jab.
Kraken takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kraken takes a swing at Davol's ribcage but misses. Davol clinches with his opponent.
Kraken lands a body punch. Davol tries a body shot but Kraken blocks it.
Davol tries to land knees in the clinch but Kraken avoids the damage to the body. Kraken wants to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kraken tries to circle away but Davol has him pinned against the cage. Kraken tries to break the clinch but Davol is controlling the position. A right handed body shot lands from Davol.
Davol lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kraken or not. Kraken working aggressively here.
Davol tries to work over Kraken's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kraken working hard to break the clinch. Davol lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kraken backwards. Kraken misses with a punch on the inside.
Kraken is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Davol lands with a short shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davol can't find room to land a body shot as Kraken controls the action.
Davol works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Davol stalls. Kraken tries to break the clinch but Davol is controlling the position. Davol lands with a right to the head. Davol blocks a body shot from Kraken. Davol tries to work over Kraken's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Davol digs a right hand underneath Kraken's ribcage. Kraken let out a lung full of air as it connected. Nice body punch from Davol. Davol goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kraken prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davol lands a body punch in the clinch. Kraken misses with a punch to the body.
Davol can't get the takedown.
Kraken tries to circle away but Davol has him pinned against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Davol takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Davol lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kraken. Kraken wants to break free but Davol has control.
Davol tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mark Kraken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Davol. Kraken wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Davol throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Krakens head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mark Kraken will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bruno Davol's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Kraken scores with a decent looking hook. Kraken throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kraken slips a straight right by Davol. Kraken moves away from the strike by Davol. Kraken throws a hook but Davol blocks it. Davol moves away from the strike by Kraken. Kraken misses the shot to the body. Davol shoots in but Kraken avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kraken swats away the attempt to clinch by Davol.

and Kraken connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Davol ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Davol misses with a jab to the body
and Kraken makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kraken throws a body punch but Davol moves out of range. Davol misses with a double jab
and Kraken counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kraken catches Davol with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Davol fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davol throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kraken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Davol is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kraken misses with a jab to the body
and Davol counters with a takedown into side control. Kraken is trying to improve his position. Davol is looking to take a break and control but Kraken is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davol advances to full mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Davol goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kraken is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kraken wants to pass the guard but Davol is keeping the position. Kraken trying to control the position from guard on top but Davol is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davol looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Davol is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kraken defends well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davol working for a triangle but Kraken defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Kraken dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Bruno Davol's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Davol blocks a jab. Davol steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kraken. Kraken takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kraken misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davol slips under a jab. Kraken throws a body punch but Davol moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slow jab from Kraken misses its intended target. Davol is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kraken rather than just go for the knockout. Kraken misses with a hook. Davol ducked under it nicely. Kraken scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Mark Kraken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kraken misses with a double jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davol. Davol dodges the punch combination from Kraken.
Kraken misses with a shot to the body and Davol counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Davol counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Davol misses with a shot to the body and Kraken counters with a nice body shot. Davol misses with a wild body shot. Kraken misses with a wild combination.
Davol throws a shot from downtown. Kraken moves away and avoids it. The crowd cheers as Davol lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kraken doesn't seem phased though. Kraken throws a predictable looking body shot
and Davol counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kraken takes a swing at Davol's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davol gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Davol wants a takedown.
Davol pulls Kraken into guard.
Davol is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kraken defends well. Davol wants to sweep here but Kraken controlling him for the moment. Davol throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kraken uses it to pass to side control.
Davol is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kraken in particular looking to stall. Davol trying to control but Kraken postures up.
Kraken wants to stand up but Davol has a hold of him and won't allow it. Davol is looking to control Kraken's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Davol avoid being mounted? Bruno Davol has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Davol punching from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruno Davol comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kraken has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
