Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoge Mourge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Loco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, El Loco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Geoge Mourge!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mourge gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Loco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mourge is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Loco, into his guard.
Loco wants to stand and escape but Mourge is having none of it.
Mourge has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Loco is proving hard to escape from.
Mourge won't allow Loco to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mourge trying to control but Loco is working from the bottom.
Mourge tries to free his leg and advance position but Loco is retaining full guard.
Mourge is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Mourge has gone for a leg lock! Loco slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mourge's guard.

Loco drops back looking for a leg! Mourge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mourge manages to kick Loco off! Loco jumps back into Mourge's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mourge is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Loco has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Loco drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mourge looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mourge looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mourge!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loco tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mourge tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mourge landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Mourge tries to stand but Loco is controlling his head.
Loco tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mourge wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mourge advances nicely into full mount.
Loco really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Loco is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mourge unloading with bombs!
Mourge landing strikes from the mount.
Mourge tries to control but Loco wriggling away.
Mourge working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mourge is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Loco taking shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Geoge Mourge dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Loco shoots in for a takedown but Mourge shows good takedown defense.
Loco takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mourge misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mourge fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mourge doesn't manage to clinch there - Loco circles away.
Loco shoots for a double leg takedown but Mourge sprawls well. He's pushed Loco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Loco shoots in for a takedown but Mourge shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Loco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mourge explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Mourge shoots in looking for a takedown. Loco tries to sprawl out of it but Mourge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Loco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mourge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Loco's waist but Loco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mourge off to one side.
Loco displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mourge.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Loco counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mourge is defending against the submission attempts here by Loco.
Mourge is trying to control but can't.

Loco seems to be looking for submissions.
Mourge slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Loco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Loco trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mourge working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Loco.
Loco wants to pass the guard but Mourge is keeping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No joy there for Mourge, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mourge tries for a takedown but Loco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mourge misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Loco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mourge's guard.
Mourge looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mourge wants to get back to his feet but Loco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mourge is trying to keep Loco in close.

Mourge looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Loco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Loco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Loco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Loco has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mourge is proving hard to escape from.

so Loco counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
El Loco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Loco is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mourge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mourge has escaped and now he's on top!

Mourge looking to sit in guard and control but Loco gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mourge is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Loco is trying to stand up here but Mourge is controlling him well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that El Loco will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Mourge shoots in and drives through. Loco sprawls well.
El Loco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No luck for Loco with that takedown attempt.
Mourge is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Loco fails with the takedown.

and Loco counters with a single leg into guard. Mourge didn't expect that.

Mourge has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Loco is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mourge.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Loco tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Loco tries for a kimura but Mourge is defending well.

Loco swings around for an armbar but Mourge sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Loco's guard.
Loco keeping moving, preventing Mourge from controlling successfully.

Loco uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mourge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Loco paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Loco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Loco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mourge swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mourge not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Loco drops back looking for a leg! Mourge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mourge manages to kick Loco off! Loco jumps back into Mourge's guard.

Loco is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mourge dives into side control.
Mourge trying to control the position but Loco is working away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mourge advances to mount.
Loco holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mourge tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mourge looking to control but Loco is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
El Loco showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Loco has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
