Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ruth Less (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mindfreak bueba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bueba has chosen metalingus as his entrance music. mindfreak bueba is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bueba shoots for a double leg takedown but Less sprawls well. He's pushed bueba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Less shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts bueba as he jumps to the side.
bueba lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and bueba counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Less gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from bueba.
bueba tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Less landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Less gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Less connects with a nice short shot to bueba's temple.
bueba is trying to maintain the position but Less is very close to passing his half guard.

bueba is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Less pulls his head out easily.

bueba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Less has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Less wants to take a breather but bueba is having none of it.

Less sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed bueba's guard.
Less thows a huge punch but bueba dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
bueba has a hand on Less's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Less takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Less pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Less can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as bueba is looking to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Less lands a heavy elbow.
Less takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Less cracks bueba with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

bueba is looking to improve his position but Less isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Less is trying to trip bueba. He has hold of a leg but bueba is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Less persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Less looking to sit in guard and control but bueba gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Less, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
