Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Darque Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stevenson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

A decent looking cross lands there for Stevenson.
Stevenson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knight bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Stevenson bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Knight! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Let's hope that Stevenson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Stevenson tries to land a front kick but Knight steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Stevenson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Knight stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevenson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Knight is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stevenson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stevenson has escaped and now he's on top!

Knight escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stevenson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Knight is looking for a triangle here but Stevenson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Knight slips under a jab.
Stevenson looks to land a right hand but Knight moved out of range.
Knight uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stevenson.
Stevenson lands a nice looking body shot.
Knight shoots for a takedown but Stevenson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Knight moves out of range as Stevenson throws a body kick.
Stevenson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Stevenson just misses with a punch to the body.
Stevenson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knight takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stevenson throws a lazy right hand but Knight sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Knight shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stevenson defends it nicely.
Knight moves out of range as Stevenson strikes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Nice cross by Stevenson.
Stevenson rushes Knight with punches - Knight moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Knight goes down! Stevenson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
