Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zvonimir Soldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Ubereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alistair Ubereem will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zvonimir Soldo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alistair Ubereem! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soldo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ubereem buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Soldo fails with a takedown attempt. Soldo gets the takedown into side control. Ubereem struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soldo in side control, throwing shots but Ubereem defends. Soldo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Soldo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Soldo scoring with punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ubereem is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Soldo has just dragged him back down to the mat. Soldo fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Soldo taking a break here but Ubereem is having none of it and regains half guard. Soldo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ubereem! Ubereem takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ubereem's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Soldo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Soldo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ubereem hang on? Soldo working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soldo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Soldo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Ubereem keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Soldo is landing with some decent strikes but Ubereem is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Soldo lands a nice shot to the head.
Ubereem is rocked! Ubereem looks gassed! Soldo postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Ubereem is out cold - huge knockout for Soldo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Zvonimir Soldo! Zvonimir Soldo is the new heavyweight champion!
