Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Shanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Johnson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Shanks looking to pass the guard.
Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shanks is aware though and is defending well.

Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shanks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Shanks passes into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shanks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Johnson is trying to control Shanks's posture but Shanks avoids it.
Johnson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Johnson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Shanks pulls his head out easily.
Shanks takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson wants to control but Shanks is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Shanks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Johnson misses with a straight right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shanks avoids the head kick by Johnson.

Shanks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shanks off to one side.
Shanks misses with a wild body shot.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Shanks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shanks shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Johnson controls Shanks momentarily but Shanks frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Shanks from controlling successfully.
Shanks showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shanks seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Johnson for as long as he can get away with.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Johnson throws his legs up looking for a submission but Shanks uses it to pass to side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Shanks shoots in and gets a takedown into Johnson's guard.

Johnson has his feet on Shanks's thighs here. He's pushed Shanks off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Shanks screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
