Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Captain Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christopher Clubus!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murphy connects with the punch.
Clubus throws a head kick but Murphy moves out of range.

Clubus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Murphy circles away quickly and effectively.
Clubus finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Clubus had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Murphy defends it easily.
Murphy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clubus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murphy has managed to get both his arms back between Clubus's legs - danger averted.

Murphy sizes up Clubus with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Clubus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Murphy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Murphy lands in his opponent's guard.
Clubus is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Murphy is controlling him.
Clubus controls Murphy momentarily but Murphy frees himself.
Clubus has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Murphy is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Clubus.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Murphy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Murphy prefers to stall for the moment though.
Clubus is breathing heavily.
Murphy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Clubus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Murphy postures up and lands a big shot to Clubus's brow.

Murphy wants to control from the top but Clubus keeps moving.
Clubus isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Murphy stacks Clubus on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Murphy!
Clubus bucks up and tries to throw Murphy off but instead Murphy has got his back!

Murphy is looking for the choke from the back position but Clubus is controlling his hands well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Murphy working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Clubus is doing well to defend. Murphy seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Clubus is forced to tap and this one is over!
