Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes to the cage accompanied by RockStarr. Drysdale has chosen Jadakiss - The Champ Is Here as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drysdale.
Machida fails in his attempt to clinch.
Drysdale circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drysdale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Drysdale shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Machida napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Machida on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Machida tries to get out of the position.

Drysdale wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Machida, who protects the arm well.

Drysdale is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Machida looks calm but he's in trouble here. Drysdale gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Machida is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Drysdale lets go of the hold and Machida can pop his arm back in it's socket.
