Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eaton Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You are the best around. Cox has chosen Hatebreed - Destroy Everything as his entrance music. Eaton Cox has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrei Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eaton Cox!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cox.
Emelianenko looks to land a combination but Cox avoids it well.

Cox got a little sloppy there for a moment and Emelianenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cox has managed to get both his arms back between Emelianenko's legs - danger averted.

Cox has control of Emelianenko's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Emelianenko regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Eaton Cox showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cox feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Eaton Cox comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cox has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
