Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Roxas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Beckenbauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roxas comes to the cage accompanied by The World's Greatest. Beckenbauer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Apaga mas não bate . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Beckenbauer with that takedown attempt.
Roxas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beckenbauer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Beckenbauer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roxas tries to avoid it but Beckenbauer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roxas to the ground. Roxas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beckenbauer dives in and grabs Roxas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roxas pushes down on Beckenbauer's head and hops out.
Gabriel Roxas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franz Beckenbauer.
Roxas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beckenbauer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
