Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trent Malloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Malloy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Was It True. Trent Malloy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malloy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Malloy wants to get up but he can't break Wilson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Wilson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Wilson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wilson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Wilson clinches with his opponent.
Wilson has had enough of the clinch but Malloy keeps him there for the moment.
Wilson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wilson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Malloy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wilson's guard.
Malloy stops Wilson from standing up.
Malloy wants to stand but Wilson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Malloy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wilson is keeping the position for now.

Malloy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wilson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Malloy has Wilson in his guard.
Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wilson wants to pass the guard but Malloy is keeping the position.
Malloy keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully.
Wilson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Malloy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Malloy pushes Wilson off and gets back to his feet.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wilson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Malloy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wilson!

Malloy takes Wilson's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Wilson is in trouble.
Malloy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Malloy is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wilson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Malloy is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Wilson with him. Wilson is trying to defend but Malloy has an arm under the chin now! Wilson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
