Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jameer Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thai Shu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Shu's choice of entrance music: We International. The key to victory for Jameer Stevens has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jameer Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thai Shu! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens leaves Shu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stevens thumps Shu with a low kick. No luck for Shu with that takedown attempt. Shu shoots for a double leg takedown but Stevens sprawls well. He's pushed Shu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jameer Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thai Shu. Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.
Shu throws a series of strikes that have Stevens backpedaling.
Stevens loads up on a big right hand but Shu slips the punch. Shu looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Stevens trying to control the position.
Stevens keeping moving, preventing Shu from controlling successfully. Shu won't allow Stevens to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shu wants to control from the top but Stevens keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Thai Shu hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Shu tries to clinch up but Stevens circles away and keeps his distance. Stevens scores with a jab to the jaw. Stevens throws a combination that misses and Shu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shu. Stevens wants to stand but Shu is controlling the position. Stevens is breathing heavily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shu passes Stevens's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Shu scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Shu in particular looking to stall. Shu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Stevens is refusing to be controlled, as Shu sits in half guard. Shu not landing any meaningful shots this time. Shu not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nice strikes from Shu there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Well, if Shu is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Shu tries to control but Stevens wriggling away. Shu is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Stevens has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Shu lands a big elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shu lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thai Shu dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Shu shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Shu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stevens takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Shu walks into a straight right hand from Stevens. Stevens throws a front kick aimed at Shu's knee but Shu avoids it well. Shu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stevens sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stevens stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stevens wants it to stay on the feet. Jameer Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thai Shu. The fight stays on the outside here - Shu looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shu misses with a low kick. Stevens throws a sloppy head kick and Shu moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stevens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Shu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stevens circles away. Shu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stevens as he jumps to the side. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stevens misses with the body kick and Shu counters with a takedown into side control. Shu tries to move to mount but Stevens blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Shu are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Stevens dodges the ground and pound from Shu. Shu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stevens struggling a bit here. Shu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stevens down.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stevens blocking the ground and pound attempt from Shu. Nice strikes from Shu there. Shu throws a strike but Stevens avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Shu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stevens is keeping the position for now. Shu wants to control from the top but Stevens keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Stevens pushes Shu off and scrambles back to his feet.
Shu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shu scores with a couple of short elbows. Shu cracks Stevens with an elbow. That is naaassty. The strikes coming from Shu are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shu in side control lands a decent elbow. Shu is working Stevens over with some ground and pound from side control. Stevens is not content to let Shu control the position. Stevens on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Stevens stops Shu from passing to mount. Shu creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Stevens struggling a bit here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thai Shu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Shu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stevens's hands. Jameer Stevens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stevens did well to prevent Shu getting side control. Thai Shu has got the better of the ground game so far. Shu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Stevens is staying active underneath Shu, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stevens looks like he's trying to stand up.
Shu frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Shu working away from the top, dropping strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stevens is in a horrible position here. Shu smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shu wants to control the pace but Stevens is squirming around nicely. Thai Shu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Thai Shu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shu winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
