Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Jameson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jameson sprawls well initially but Emelianenko persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Emelianenko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Nice strikes from Emelianenko there. Jameson wants to get back to his feet.
Emelianenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jameson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Emelianenko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Emelianenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jameson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jameson is trying to stand up here but Emelianenko is controlling him well. Jameson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Emelianenko is nestled in close to Jameson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jameson taking some punishment here, with Emelianenko in his half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Emelianenko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jameson's head. Emelianenko prevents Jameson from standing back up.
Jameson is breathing heavily. Emelianenko drops an elbow to the side of Jameson's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Emelianenko lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Emelianenko there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emelianenko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jameson is not content to let Emelianenko control the position. Emelianenko is looking for a kimura but Jameson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Emelianenko to get the leverage. Emelianenko throwing shots but Jameson is blocking nicely. Jameson tries to kick Emelianenko off but Emelianenko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Emelianenko scoring with strikes to the body and head. Emelianenko slips a nice elbow through Jameson's hands, connecting with Jameson's forehead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jameson taking some punishment here, with Emelianenko in his half guard. Still in half guard, Emelianenko seems content to control. Jameson is looking to escape.

Emelianenko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Emelianenko not landing any meaningful shots this time. Emelianenko lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jameson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jameson is in trouble now - Emelianenko has advanced to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko with good strikes from the mount here! Jameson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Emelianenko in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Emelianenko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jameson looks a forlorn figure.

Jameson is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Emelianenko controlling from the full mount. Oh Jameson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Emelianenko fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Emelianenko connects with a bit shot that sees Jameson covering up! More strikes from Emelianenko and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Emelianenko is our winner by TKO!
