Bober comes into the arena with Angry Bievers blaring out of the sound system. Valery Georgievich Karpin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bober.
Bober shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Karpin but Karpin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bober misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zlyka Bober. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bober closes the distance and clinches up with Karpin, looking for a takedown. Bober pushes Karpin against the cage but Karpin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bober has a takedown stuffed.
Bober shoots in for a double leg but Karpin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Karpin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Zlyka Bober has been cut.

Karpin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karpin wants it to stay on the feet.
Bober tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karpin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bober somewhat.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Karpin knocks Bober out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
