Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Mcdough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Einstien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Einstien's choice of entrance music: Hokus Pokus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Douglas Mcdough!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Albert Einstien!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Einstien drives through with a takedown into guard.
Einstien working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Einstien postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mcdough is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Einstien, into his guard.

Einstien utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mcdough pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Einstien is keeping the position for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Einstien can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mcdough stands and steps away. Einstien gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mcdough tries to close the distance and clinch up but Einstien swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mcdough dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mcdough tries to clinch but Einstien is having none of it.
Mcdough fails with the takedown

and Einstien counters with a shoot takedown. Mcdough fights it but they end up in guard.
Einstien wants to control from the top but Mcdough keeps moving.
Einstien content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Einstien preventing the sweep.
Einstien passes Mcdough's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Einstien is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Einstien thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mcdough's head.

Mcdough is defending against the submission attempts here by Einstien.

Einstien lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Einstien lands a nice short elbow.
Mcdough wants to control but Einstien is keeping busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Einstien is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mcdough sees it coming and defends easily.
Einstien looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mcdough with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Einstien winds up and cracks Mcdough with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Mcdough has hold of Einstien's hands but Einstien slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Einstien is working for a submission of some sort.
Mcdough is not content to let Einstien control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Einstien lands with a punch from half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mcdough is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Einstien scores with a couple of nice shots.
Mcdough has hold of Einstien's hands but Einstien slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mcdough is in trouble now - Einstien has advanced to mount!
Einstien is landing with some decent strikes but Mcdough is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Einstien lands a nice shot to the head.

Einstien drops a big elbow. That's hurt Mcdough! More shots from Einstien and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
