Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Francis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carrey comes to the cage accompanied by When the man comes around - Johnny Cash. Jim Carrey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ray Francis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Carrey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Francis! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carrey forces Francis back against the cage and clinches. Carrey can't get the takedown.
Francis stops a takedown attempt from Carrey.
Carrey drops down looking for an ankle pick but Francis pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Carrey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carrey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Francis circles away quickly and effectively. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carrey is defended easily by Francis. Francis fails to land the takedown. Carrey throws a nice looking combination but Francis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carrey moves into the clinch successfully.
Carrey throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Francis blocks it with crossed arms. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Carrey wants a takedown.
Francis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Francis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carrey pinned against the cage. Carrey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Francis shoots in looking for a takedown. Carrey tries to sprawl out of it but Francis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carrey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Carrey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Francis was covering up waiting for the punch and Carrey finishes the takedown easily into guard. Francis looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Carrey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Francis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Carrey has Francis in his guard. Carrey has his foot on Francis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Francis works his way back into a safe position though. Francis won't allow Carrey to sweep him here. Francis trying to control but Carrey is working from the bottom. Carrey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Francis! Francis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carrey has isolated one of Francis's arms. Francis looking to fight him off but Carrey twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jim Carrey!
