Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alpha One!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One looks to land a combination but Fisher avoids it well.
One tries to bum rush Fisher with a series of wild strikes but Fisher uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fisher shoots in and drives through. One sprawls well.

Fisher feints and as One raises his hands in defense, Fisher changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
One is looking to stand up but Fisher isn't so interested in that idea.
Fisher trying to control but One is working from the bottom.
One wants to stand but Fisher is controlling the position.
Fisher looking to pass the guard.
Fisher won't allow One to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fisher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fisher takes the fight into the clinch.
One tries to circle away but Fisher has him pinned against the cage.

Fisher pulls One into guard.
One wants to stand but Fisher is controlling his posture from full guard.
Fisher will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fisher had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. One defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fisher controls One momentarily but One frees himself.
One is looking to stand up but Fisher won't let him.

Fisher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. One gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
One wants to stand but Fisher has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fisher wants to sweep here but One controlling him for the moment.
Fisher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
One wanted to stand there but Fisher had control of the position.

Fisher has his foot on One's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. One works his way back into a safe position though.
One would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fisher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. One tries to avoid it but Fisher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag One to the ground. One escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fisher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
