Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Popeye Mcgrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgrady has chosen Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez tries for a takedown but Mcgrady circles away easily
enabling Mcgrady to counter with a crisp jab.

Mendez moves into the clinch.
Mendez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mcgrady walks away with a smile on his face. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Mendez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcgrady dips to his left and cracks Mendez with an uppercut!
Mendez closes the distance and pushes Mcgrady back into the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Mendez will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Mendez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
