Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yan Khone! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Khone rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage. Johnson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Khone is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Johnson can't fight it off and eventually Khone manages to take the fight to the floor. Johnson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Khone trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Khone is defending against the submission attempts here by Johnson.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson prevents Khone from improving his position. Khone flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Khone drives through with a takedown into guard. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Khone would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khone is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Khone from controlling successfully. Khone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Khone lands a couple of decent looking shots. Khone looking to pass the guard. Khone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson has his feet on Khone's thighs here. He's pushed Khone off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Khone screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
