The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sama fails to land the takedown.
San stuffs the takedown.
San stuffs the takedown attempt from Sama. Sama gets slowly back to his feet.
Oji San has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakuraba Sama.
San looks to land a combination but Sama avoids it well.
Sama fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but San avoids it really well and circles away.

San digs a right hand underneath Sama's ribcage. Sama let out a lung full of air as it connected.

San creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Sama's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Sama drops to his knees and San pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
