Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bastian Schweinsteiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins looks to land a left hand but Schweinsteiger moved out of range nicely.
Schweinsteiger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rollins.
Schweinsteiger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rollins.
Rollins throws a jab but it's blocked by Schweinsteiger.
A telegraphed right hand from Rollins misses the target.
Schweinsteiger fails to land the takedown.

Schweinsteiger drives through with a takedown into guard.

Schweinsteiger thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Schweinsteiger pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rollins is keeping the position for now.

Schweinsteiger is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Schweinsteiger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rollins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Schweinsteiger, into his guard.
Rollins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Schweinsteiger is proving hard to escape from.
Schweinsteiger looking for a sweep. Not yet Schweinsteiger, not yet.
Schweinsteiger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rollins!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rollins is trying to escape the mount.

Schweinsteiger is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rollins has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rollins!

Schweinsteiger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rollins defends well.

Schweinsteiger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rollins is one step ahead there.

Schweinsteiger has his foot on Rollins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rollins works his way back into a safe position though.

Schweinsteiger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rollins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rollins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Schweinsteiger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rollins wanted to stand there but Schweinsteiger had control of the position.

Schweinsteiger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rollins defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bastian Schweinsteiger dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Schweinsteiger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rollins is fending him off so far but Schweinsteiger persists. Nope, Rollins circles away and we're back to standing.
Rollins throws a nice looking combination but Schweinsteiger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rollins jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Bastian Schweinsteiger has been cut.
Rollins throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Schweinsteiger stumbling backwards into the cage! Schweinsteiger bounces back off the cage towards Rollins, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Rollins lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Rollins celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Stephen Rollins!
