Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Halliwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halliwell comes into the arena with Finally vs Love story blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pain fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Pain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Halliwell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Pain is trying to get an arm triangle but Halliwell is defending well. Pain works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Pain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Halliwell, who protects the arm well. Pain tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pain has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Halliwell is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain working away. Pain lands a decent elbow from side control. Pain postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Pain working the ground and pound. Halliwell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Halliwell tries to get out of the position. Pain is putting a hurting on Halliwell here, landing some big shots from side control. Halliwell is trying to control Pain's posture but Pain avoids it. Pain tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pain has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pain is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halliwell is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pain connects with a decent elbow. Check out the look on Pain's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Halliwell takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Pain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. This has been an exciting period of action! Pain working the ground and pound. Pain tries for a kimura but Halliwell is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Halliwell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halliwell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pain wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pain has an Americana. Halliwell didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Pain is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Pain hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
