Sirovica comes to the cage accompanied by last mohacian. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirovica is looking to clinch.
James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sirovica moves away.

and James cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

James on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sirovica wants to clinch but James slips to the side
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
James misses with a wild body shot.
Sirovica uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from James.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sirovica. That's going to slow James down.
Sirovica throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.
Sirovica throws a looping overhand right but James ducks down to avoid it.

and James counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sirovica moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sirovica wants to hit a switch here but James passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sirovica there!

James is landing with some decent strikes but Sirovica is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

James has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sirovica's face.
