Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Somebody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Ho will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Somebody misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Somebody shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Somebody avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Ho scores with a hook to the body. Somebody takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ho does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. The fighters circle momentarily. Ho darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Left hook, right uppercut from Ho. Ho lands a body shot.
Somebody is breathing heavily. Ho throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Somebody will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Somebody. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ho scores with a one two! Somebody had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Ho scores with a nice strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ho throws a one two combo.
Somebody doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ho scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A jab lands there for Ho.
Somebody is rocked! Ho will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Somebody takes one to the side of the head.
Somebody blocks a low kick nicely. Nice shot by Ho. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Somebody. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A jab from Ho does it's job there. Ho misses with a two punch combination.
Ho works the jab nicely. Don Ho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Somebody takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Don Ho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Ho as Somebody shoots in. Ho lands a lovely overhand right. Ho throws a leg kick but Somebody moved away. Ho is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Somebody had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Ho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Somebody gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ho connects with a right hand. Somebody shakes it off. Ho connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Ho is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Ho connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho jabs Somebody right on the nose. Somebody blinks but takes it well. Somebody on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ho lands a jab-cross combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ho works the jab nicely. Ho connects with a crisp jab. Ho has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Ho throws a front kick aimed at Somebody's knee but Somebody avoids it well. Ho lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Ho connects with a jab. Somebody with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ho to score with a decent uppercut. Ho connects with a nice looking jab.
Ho lands a slapping body shot.
Ho throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Somebody stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Somebody shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ho is trying to defend but Somebody finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Ho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ho is trying to stand back up but Somebody is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ho is trying to control but can't.
Somebody has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ho defend it? Somebody steps over the head and cranks it - Ho is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Somebody!
