Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeca Pagodinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pagodinho drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aldo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Aldo being controlled here, momentarily.
Aldo wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pagodinho manages to pass to side control.
Aldo pushes Pagodinho off but Pagodinho dives into side control.

Pagodinho stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Aldo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Zeca Pagodinho has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aldo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pagodinho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Aldo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Pagodinho can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Aldo and Pagodinho drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Aldo.
