The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hanson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looks like Jon Roberts has been cut.

Borg Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanson scores with a sloppy right hand. Roberts should have avoided that one.
Hanson throws a shot from downtown. Roberts moves away and avoids it.
Roberts takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roberts walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Hanson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roberts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hanson drops Roberts with a beautiful combination! Roberts stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hanson is looking for the KO!

Oh Roberts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Roberts takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hanson cracks Roberts with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hanson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Roberts to stand back up!

Roberts moves in looking to clinch but Hanson pushes him off.
Hanson throws a hook but Roberts blocks it.
Roberts takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hanson lands with an uppercut that bounces Roberts off the cage and back into rage.

Jon Roberts's cut is getting worse.
Hanson lands an uppercut, right on the button! Roberts tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
