Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Basit Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Basit Ali! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar leaves Ali with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Lesnar. A combination from Lesnar does no damage. Ali gets the takedown into side control. Ali throwing strikes but Lesnar manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Lesnar working away. Ali wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lesnar wants to control but Ali is keeping him busy. Ali tries to improve position but can't. Ali gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Ali is trying to stand back up but Lesnar is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar escapes and gets back to his feet. Lesnar connects with the punch.
It looks like Basit Ali has been cut. Ali looks gassed! Lesnar is looking to clinch. Lesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Ali, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lesnar fails with the takedown and Ali counters by moving into the clinch. Lesnar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ali has Lesnar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lesnar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Basit Ali. Lesnar pulls Ali into guard.
Lesnar is trying to control the position but Ali postures up. Lesnar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lesnar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ali on the ground. Ali would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ali throws and elbow that misses. Lesnar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ali's guard. Nice move by Lesnar! Ali trying to keep a closed guard but Lesnar is proving a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ali gets caught flat footed, as Lesnar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lesnar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lesnar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lesnar won't allow Ali to sweep him here. Lesnar gets to his feet - Ali follows without any prompting. Lesnar has his takedown stuffed and Ali decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lesnar's guard. Ali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lesnar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ali trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar wants to sweep but no luck. Ali wants to stand but Lesnar has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ali is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lesnar is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ali gets to his feet. Lesnar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Basit Ali's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lesnar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lesnar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ali tries to avoid it but Lesnar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ali to the ground. Ali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lesnar misses with a head kick.

Ali moves into the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt and Ali counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ali. Ali loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ali looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ali advances position into side control! Ali tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ali has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar wants to control but Ali postures up. Lesnar is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar wants to control but Ali postures up. Ali is trying to get an arm triangle but Lesnar is defending well. Ali is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lesnar tries to buck Ali off but Ali is having none of it. Ali prevents Lesnar from escaping the position. Ali connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lesnar some visible discomfort.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lesnar misses with a takedown and Ali counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ali cracks Lesnar with a solid left hand. Lesnar keeping full guard, as Ali tries to pass. Lesnar trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Ali from controlling successfully. Lesnar is looking for a triangle but Ali pushes his legs off easily.

Ali is stalling in the full guard. Ali is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lesnar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lesnar has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lesnar preventing the sweep. Lesnar trying to control but Ali is working from the bottom. Basit Ali has got the better of the ground game so far. Lesnar tries to stand but Ali is controlling from the bottom. Ali has Lesnar pulled in close to control his posture. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Basit Ali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Basit Ali's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ali gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ali throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt and Ali counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Lesnar pushes Ali off looking to stand but Ali dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ali is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Lesnar still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Lesnar has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Lesnar trying to control the action but Ali is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar with the ground and pound but Ali regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Ali tries to kick Lesnar off but Lesnar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. It looks like Lesnar is going to stand back up.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ali keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lesnar tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ali works his way to full guard. Good work. Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Ali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ali wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment. Lesnar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A lazy body kick from Lesnar and Ali counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali is pressing down on Lesnar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lesnar is holding on for now. Ali is looking for a kimura here.
Ali is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lesnar defends it well. Lesnar gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ali is looking to work some ground and pound but Lesnar has wrist control. Ali thows a big elbow that misses. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Ali from controlling successfully. Ali won't allow Lesnar to sweep him here. Lesnar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ali missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lesnar with a lazy takedown attempt and Ali counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ali postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lesnar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ali, into his guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ali scores with a short punch from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Basit Ali comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ali has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
