Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luka Cervic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Another Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy has chosen New york as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luka Cervic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Another Guy! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by Cervic. Guy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cervic fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Guy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cervic counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Luka Cervic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Another Guy. Cervic wants to take a breather but Guy is having none of it. Cervic is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Guy has managed to free his arm - good work. Cervic is working for a kimura but Guy is defending it quite comfortably.
Cervic with the ground and pound but Guy uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cervic is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cervic looking to sit in guard and control but Guy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Guy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cervic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cervic has escaped and now he's on top! Guy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cervic.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cervic wants to pass the guard but Guy is keeping the position. Cervic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Guy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Guy has escaped and now he's on top! Guy pushes down on Cervic's leg and manages to get into half guard. Cervic is refusing to be controlled, as Guy sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy throwing shots but Cervic is blocking nicely. Guy missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cervic is looking to escape. Guy is keen to just control but Cervic is a slippery customer. Cervic wants to get back to his feet.
Guy wants to work for an arm triangle but Cervic is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Guy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cervic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Guy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cervic counters with a shoot takedown. Guy fights it but they end up in guard. Cervic trying to control the position from guard on top but Guy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cervic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Guy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cervic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Guy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Guy has escaped and now he's on top! Cervic wants to stand up but Guy is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luka Cervic dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cervic tries to close the distance and clinch but Guy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Another Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guy shoots and misses and Guy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Guy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cervic! Guy cracks Cervic with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Guy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cervic looks a forlorn figure.
You get the feeling that Cervic really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Guy lands a nice shot to the head. Cervic squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Guy is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy scoring with strikes but Cervic is staying in there. Guy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Cervic?
Guy lands with some strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cervic is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Guy looking to control but Cervic is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Guy landing strikes from the mount. Guy with a couple of short strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Guy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cervic is looking to escape. Guy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Guy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Guy is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Guy!
