Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Grant! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.

Grant is looking to score with low kicks. Greco uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grant. Nice sprawl there from Greco as Grant shoots in. Grant misses with a hook. Greco ducked under it nicely.
Greco gets the takedown into side control. Grant is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Greco's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Grant is looking for a sweep. Greco is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Greco lands with a punch from half guard. Grant flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Grant is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greco lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Grant avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Greco. Grant is looking for a sweep. Greco is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Greco performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Greco looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Grant with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Greco is working for a kimura but Grant is defending it quite comfortably.

Grant is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Greco pulls his head out easily.
Grant is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Greco is tapping! Great win for Grant!
