Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Mordor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Rogers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mordor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rogers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rogers wants to stand but Mordor is controlling the position.

Mordor drops back looking for a leg! Rogers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rogers manages to kick Mordor off! Mordor jumps back into Rogers's guard.

Rogers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rogers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mordor's face.
Mordor wants to control but Rogers is having none of it.
Rogers thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Mordor takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Jimmy Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mordor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rogers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rogers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rogers!

Mordor parries the strikes from Rogers easily there. Rogers is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mordor to escape.

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy Rogers.
Well Rogers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
