0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bas hol! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helmsley throws a sloppy head kick and hol moves out of range easily. hol tries to clinch but Helmsley moves out of range. Helmsley throws a front kick aimed at hol's knee but hol avoids it well. Helmsley swats away the attempt to clinch by hol. The fight stays on the outside here - hol looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Helmsley moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Bas hol has been cut. Helmsley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Helmsley cracks a nice hook into hol's ribs. Helmsley finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

hol clinches but Helmsley breaks the clinch and Helmsley counters with a shoot takedown. hol fights it but they end up in guard. hol manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Helmsley shoots for a double leg takedown but hol sprawls well. He's pushed Helmsley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Helmsley is breathing heavily. hol fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Helmsley, pushing him back against the cage. Helmsley jumps guard but hol stands there with Helmsley around his waist. Helmsley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Helmsley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. hol smiles and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. hol tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bas hol's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
hol tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Helmsley paws at him with a jab and circles away. hol darts in trying to clinch and Helmsley counters by clinching up. Helmsley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as hol walks away with a smile on his face. Helmsley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. hol tries to clinch up. Helmsley swats away the attempt to clinch by hol. hol wants to clinch and Helmsley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Helmsley is looking to take a break and control but hol is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. hol kicks off Helmsley and gets to his feet. Helmsley shoots in and drives through. hol sprawls well. Helmsley swats away the attempt to clinch by hol. Hunter Hearst Helmsley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Helmsley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. hol manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. hol closes the distance and pushes Helmsley back into the cage. hol lands a knee to the body.

hol breaks the clinch.
hol tries to close the distance and clinch up but Helmsley swats him away and circles back towards the center. No luck with that takedown attempt from Helmsley. hol connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Helmsley tumbling to the canvas! hol pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Helmsley was done - good stoppage!
