Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Schnee Wittchen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall is looking to clinch but Wittchen is avoiding it.
Marshall moves into the clinch.
Wittchen can't break the clinch.
Wittchen wants to get back to striking at distance but Marshall won't allow it.
Marshall keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wittchen's efforts to push away.
Wittchen is looking to break free of the clinch but Marshall has double underhooks.
Marshall throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wittchen blocks it with crossed arms.
Marshall using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Marshall lands an elbow that stopped Wittchen in his tracks for a moment.
Wittchen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Marshall taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Marshall pushes Wittchen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Marshall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Marshall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wittchen throws a nice inside leg kick.
A left and a right from Wittchen both land. Nice combination.
Wittchen keeps Marshall at a distance using the push kick.
Marshall looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wittchen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A solid body kick from Wittchen.
Wittchen works over Marshall's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Jack Marshall has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wittchen lands with a straight right. Marshall didn't see that one coming.
Wittchen lands a left and a right that send Marshall crashing to the mat, dazed. Wittchen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Marshall is rocked!
Wittchen lands with a big left! Marshall is wobbled badly! Wittchen comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Marshall to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Schnee Wittchen!
