PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason The Raven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruthless Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Raven comes to the cage accompanied by Broken Dreams. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ruthless Junior!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Raven moves away.
The Raven tries to close the distance and clinch but Junior swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The Raven changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Junior tries to avoid it but The Raven manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Junior to the ground. Junior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The Raven tries to score with a low kick but Junior moves his leg out of the way.
The Raven is trying hard to land a takedown here. Junior sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The Raven closes the distance and pushes Junior back into the cage.
The Raven is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Junior is keeping busy.

Junior breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The Raven looks for a takedown but Junior sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason The Raven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Raven looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Junior thows a body shot but no joy.

Junior's corner calls for a 1-2. Junior obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Jason The Raven has been cut.

The Raven tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Junior paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A left and a right from Junior both land. Nice combination.

Junior lands a big uppercut and The Raven crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but The Raven looks OK. Junior waves The Raven back to his feet!

The Raven is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Junior measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes The Raven! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
