Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russell Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Young Tutankhamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport". Young Tutankhamon has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russell Jack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Young Tutankhamon! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tutankhamon fails in his attempt to clinch. Tutankhamon clinches. Tutankhamon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tutankhamon manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Jack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jack gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tutankhamon is looking to take a break and control but Jack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tutankhamon is working for a kimura but Jack is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tutankhamon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jack's head. The fighters are battling for position here. Jack manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jack keeping moving, preventing Tutankhamon from controlling successfully. Jack is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tutankhamon throwing strikes from guard but Jack blocks nicely. Jack wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tutankhamon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jack wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jack is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jack managing to control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tutankhamon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tutankhamon wants to pass the guard but Jack is keeping the position. Jack looking to control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tutankhamon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jack is breathing heavily. Jack keeping moving, preventing Tutankhamon from controlling successfully. Tutankhamon drops back looking for a leg! Jack is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jack manages to kick Tutankhamon off! Tutankhamon jumps back into Jack's guard. Tutankhamon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jack is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tutankhamon defends well. Jack working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tutankhamon. Tutankhamon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jack is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Young Tutankhamon wasn't active enough on the ground. Tutankhamon scores a takedown into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Young Tutankhamon dominated that round. That's time! Jack's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tutankhamon instigates a clinch. Tutankhamon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tutankhamon is pushing Jack up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Tutankhamon gets underhooks to prevent Jack's takedown attempt.
The referee is keeping an eye on Tutankhamon - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tutankhamon scores with a nice hook to the head. Jack has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tutankhamon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tutankhamon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jack is trying to keep an underhook but Tutankhamon manages to get the takedown into half guard. Jack actively working from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tutankhamon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tutankhamon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tutankhamon misses with a head shot. Tutankhamon scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tutankhamon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jack can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jack is working hard here to advance position. Tutankhamon lands a big shot there that rocks Jack but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jack is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tutankhamon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Tutankhamon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Tutankhamon controlling from mount. Tutankhamon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jack is looking to escape. Tutankhamon prevents Jack from getting the reversal. Tutankhamon controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Young Tutankhamon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jack's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Tutankhamon is trying to control the action in half guard but Jack is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tutankhamon is figuring out what he wants to do next. Tutankhamon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jack tries to roll over but Tutankhamon keeps him under control. Tutankhamon is working for a kimura but Jack is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tutankhamon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tutankhamon. Tutankhamon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tutankhamon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jack has managed to free his arm - good work. Tutankhamon wants to take a breather but Jack is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jack tries to roll over but Tutankhamon keeps him under control. Tutankhamon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jack is just riding it out for now. Tutankhamon eventually gives up the hold. Jack wants to improve his position but Tutankhamon is controlling well.
Russell Jack has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tutankhamon wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Young Tutankhamon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tutankhamon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
