Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Mann has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Luiz Soto's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luiz Soto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Mann!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mann sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Soto blocks a jab.

Mann tries to keep at a distance but Soto has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mann tries to circle away but Soto has him pinned against the ropes.
Soto keeps control of Mann as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Soto tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mann smiles and moves away.
Mann misses with a double jab.

Soto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mann looks like he's trying to stand up.
Soto is trying to control the action in half guard but Mann is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Soto is working for a submission of some sort.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Soto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mann closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Soto is rocked!
Soto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mann as he jumps to the side.
Oh Soto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Soto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Soto looking to control but Mann is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mann uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Soto has time to react.

Mann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Soto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mann throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soto.

Soto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mann looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Soto postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ground and pound from Soto seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Mann prevents Soto from improving position.
Soto misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mann is not content to let Soto control the position.
Mann is pushing Soto's head away, looking to escape. Soto manages to hold on to the position though.
Soto throwing shots but missing, from side control.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A combination from Mann does no damage.
Mann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luiz Soto will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mann leaves Soto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Soto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Soto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mann throws a right and a left that both miss.

Soto scores a takedown into full mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Soto there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Soto is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mann to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mann shrugs it off.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Soto goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mann is on top in guard.

Mann wants to get up but he can't break Soto's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mann avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mann wanted to stand there but Soto had control of the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Soto is on top in guard.
Soto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Soto won't allow Mann to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Soto stops Mann from standing up.

Soto drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mann dives on top into guard.
Luiz Soto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mann has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Soto to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mann is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Soto pulls down on the head and he's put Mann to sleep! This one is all over!
