The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leonardo Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Oliveira.
Oliveira misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Loop.
Oliveira swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Loop closes the distance and clinches.
Loop keeps control of Oliveira as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Loop could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Oliveira feints and then cracks Loop's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Loop down.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Oliveira lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Loop has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Loop and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Loop shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oliveira throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Loop is breathing heavily.

Loop chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Oliveira can pounce on him.
Oliveira lands with a kick to the ribs.
Good leg kick by Oliveira there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Loop misses with a takedown attempt
and Oliveira counters with a nice low kick that buckles Loop's knee momentarily.
Loop rushes Oliveira and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oliveira keeps control of Loop as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira manages to break the clinch.
Loop shoots in for a double leg but Oliveira sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jwonk Loop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oliveira keeps Loop at a distance using the push kick.
Loop throws a push kick but Oliveira slaps the foot to one side.
Oliveira throws a head kick but Loop moves out of range.
Loop shoots in but no luck this time.

Oliveira throws a hook to the side of Loop's head but Loop sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oliveira wants to get back to striking at distance but Loop won't allow it.
Oliveira is trying to break the clinch but Loop has him pressed against the cage.
Oliveira tries to land knees in the clinch but Loop avoids the damage to the body.
Loop fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Oliveira prevents Loop from breaking the clinch.
Loop is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Oliveira breaks the clinch.
Oliveira throws a sloppy head kick and Loop moves out of range easily.
Oliveira misses with a body kick.
Loop avoids the head kick by Oliveira.

Loop fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oliveira throws a body punch but Loop moves out of range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Oliveira! Loop is out on his feet! Oliveira rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Loop is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Loop is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
