Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Experiment Three (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sabas Torrer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Experiment Three! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sabas Torrer! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Three doesn't manage to clinch there - Torrer circles away.
Torrer tries for a takedown but Three sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Torrer keeps the fight on the outside. Three takes a swing at Torrer's ribcage but misses. Torrer has a takedown stuffed. Three throws a body punch but Torrer moves out of range. Torrer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Experiment Three has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sabas Torrer. Three wants to clinch up but Torrer keeps it at a distance. No luck for Torrer with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Three scores with a takedown into Torrer's guard. Three sitting in guard here, content to control. Torrer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Three will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Three is working hard here to advance position. Torrer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Three has his foot on Torrer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Torrer works his way back into a safe position though. Torrer trying to control the position from guard on top but Three is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Three manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Three is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Torrer has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Three with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Three avoids the attempt from Torrer to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torrer is looking to get to half guard. Three with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Three looking to control but Torrer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Three is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Torrer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Torrer! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Torrer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Experiment Three dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Three moves in looking to clinch but Torrer pushes him off. Torrer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Three trying to control but Torrer is working from the bottom. Torrer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Three defends well. Three wants to control from the top but Torrer keeps moving. Three drops back looking for a leg! Torrer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Torrer manages to kick Three off! Three jumps back into Torrer's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Three misses with a wild body shot. Three tries to clinch but Torrer moves out of range. Torrer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Three counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Torrer!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Three stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Three tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Torrer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Torrer tries to keep at a distance but Three has taken the fight into the clinch. Torrer decides to pull guard. Torrer working a defensive guard here.
Three is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Torrer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Three's guard. Torrer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Three looking to hit a scissor sweep but Torrer is one step ahead there.

Three is trying to drag Torrer to the mat but Torrer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Three looking to stall.

Three drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Torrer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Experiment Three. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torrer has Three pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Torrer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Three tumbling to the mat - Torrer dives into Three's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Experiment Three dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Torrer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Torrer pushes down on Three's leg and manages to get into half guard. Three is trying to stand back up but Torrer is controlling him
And that's the end of the fight! Experiment Three showed his dominance in that final round. Well Three has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
