Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis Valasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luis Valasquez is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luis Valasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh James! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James dives in and grabs Valasquez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valasquez pushes down on James's head and hops out. Valasquez connects with a single shot there. James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valasquez as he avoids it easily. Valasquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Luis Valasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valasquez misses with a low kick. James on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. James has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Josh James has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No luck with that takedown attempt from James. Luis Valasquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh James. James looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Valasquez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. James dodges the punch combination from Valasquez.
James walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Valasquez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Valasquez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. James takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Valasquez throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valasquez throws a big shot that misses. James dodges the punch combination from Valasquez.
A punch combination from Valasquez misses. James fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. James shoots in for a takedown but Valasquez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Valasquez.
Valasquez throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Valasquez misses with a straight right. Valasquez misses with a wild combination.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Valasquez tries to sprawl but James drives through with a takedown into half guard. James sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Valasquez defending well though. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. James is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. James is nestled in close to Valasquez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. James takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's six minutes gone in the round. James throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. James passes to full mount! James sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. James is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Valasquez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Valasquez is looking to escape. James lands a big elbow.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Valasquez taking shots to the head. Valasquez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. James looking to finish with strikes here!
James tries to control but Valasquez wriggling away. The referee warns Valasquez that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. James is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Valasquez has managed to escape the submission attempt.
James with shots to the head and body - Valasquez looks very uncomfortable down there. James lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. James lands a big shot to the head and Valasquez winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
