Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Power Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Zabijaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zabijaka has chosen Toony - Los (Feat. Pih & Fabuła) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Power Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johny Zabijaka! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva misses with a wild combination.
Zabijaka looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Zabijaka seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Zabijaka in particular looking to stall. Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zabijaka is working away from the top position though. Silva is looking to escape. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Zabijaka thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.
Silva keeping control of the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zabijaka has Silva up against the ropes in a clinch.
Zabijaka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva shoots and misses and Zabijaka counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now. Zabijaka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zabijaka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silva controls Zabijaka momentarily but Zabijaka frees himself. Zabijaka looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Silva stays in close to Zabijaka's body and controls the position. Silva tries to stand but Zabijaka is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva advances to half guard. Silva works his foot free and advances to mount. Zabijaka wants to control but Silva is having none of it. Silva manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zabijaka to take his back! Silva is riding his opponent, not letting Zabijaka buck him off. Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zabijaka for as long as he can get away with. Silva trying to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Zabijaka turns into Silva and is now in his guard.
Zabijaka tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard. Zabijaka looks gassed! Zabijaka wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva wants to stand up but Zabijaka is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silva tries to clinch up. Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Zabijaka forces Silva back against the ropes and clinches. Zabijaka prevents the takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva is trying to force a seperation but Zabijaka has the dominant position. Zabijaka tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Silva manages to break the clinch.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Zabijaka. Silva misses with a takedown and Zabijaka counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Power Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva wants to hold on but Zabijaka pushes him away. Silva is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Zabijaka trying to control but he's not successful this time. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Zabijaka is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Silva has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Silva! Silva wants to control from the top but Zabijaka keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Power Silva. Zabijaka moves out of range of the body kick. Silva tries to clinch up but Zabijaka circles away and keeps his distance. Silva has his takedown stuffed and Zabijaka counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Silva gets back to full guard.
Silva has his foot on Zabijaka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zabijaka works his way back into a safe position though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva pushes Zabijaka off and gets back to his feet.
Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zabijaka counters with a takedown into side control. Silva throws Zabijaka to one side and escapes! Zabijaka throws a head kick that misses and Silva counters with a nice leg kick. Silva throws a right hand that Zabijaka ducks under and follows up with a left that Zabijaka also avoids with ease.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Zabijaka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard. Silva will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Silva seems keen to control Zabijaka's posture. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Zabijaka is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Silva controls Zabijaka momentarily but Zabijaka frees himself.
That's eight minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Power Silva wasn't doing enough on the ground. Silva throws a series of punches but Zabijaka moves out of range. Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Zabijaka counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Silva working for submissions but it's allowed Zabijaka to get to half guard.
Zabijaka is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zabijaka to get the leverage. Silva controlling the position for now. Zabijaka wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Zabijaka is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zabijaka! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva trying to control but Zabijaka is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johny Zabijaka dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva closes the distance and clinches. Silva is trying to break free. Silva tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zabijaka just stands there and leans against the ropes. Zabijaka has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Silva is trying to keep an underhook but Zabijaka manages to get the takedown into half guard. Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Silva keeping moving, preventing Zabijaka from controlling successfully. Zabijaka wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Silva is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Zabijaka rolls with it to try and escape but Silva cranks on the arm and Zabijaka is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Power Silva!
