Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newman has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Randy Newman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gustavo Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nunes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nunes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Newman defends it nicely.
Newman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nunes.
Randy Newman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustavo Nunes.
Nunes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Newman swivels and escapes.
Nunes takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nunes fails with a takedown attempt.
Nunes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Newman is fending him off so far but Nunes persists. Nope, Newman circles away and we're back to standing.
Nunes is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Newman.
Nice takedown defense from Newman. No joy for Nunes on that attempt.
Nunes shoots in for a takedown but Newman shows good takedown defense.
Nunes looks gassed!
Newman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nunes to the mat! Nunes manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Newman's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Nunes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Newman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Newman stands and throws Nunes's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Newman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Newman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Newman thuds his shin into the meat of Nunes's side.
Jab, jab by Newman - just one landing.
Newman scores with a jab. Nunes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
No joy there for Newman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nunes with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Newman to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Newman lands with a hook. Nunes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nunes tries for a takedown but Newman circles away easily
and Nunes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A chopping leg kick lands by Newman.
Nunes with a poor takedown
and Newman counters with a nice uppercut.
Nunes misses with a takedown attempt
and Newman counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nunes is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Newman frees his head nicely. Oh but Nunes has switched to an armbar! Newman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
