The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardnegger moves out of range as Lambda throws a body kick.

Hardnegger drives through and clinches with Lambda against the cage.

Hardnegger has Lambda pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hardnegger pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lambda tumbling to the mat - Hardnegger dives into Lambda's guard.
Hardnegger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lambda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardnegger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hardnegger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lambda utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hardnegger is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hardnegger stands and steps away. Lambda gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hardnegger misses with a head kick.
Lambda throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hardnegger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lambda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hardnegger but Hardnegger pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hardnegger rushes Lambda and presses him up against the cage.
Hardnegger's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Hardnegger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lambda is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hardnegger gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hardnegger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lambda tries to reverse the position but Hardnegger maintains control.
Hardnegger lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Shakala Lambda has been cut.
Lambda looks gassed!
Hardnegger cracks Lambda with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
