Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Kendall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tchuck Lideuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kendall comes to the cage accompanied by Kool Moe Dee - I Go To Work. Lideuu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's Dark and Hell is Hot by DMX kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tchuck Lideuu has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendall tries to clinch up.
Kurt Kendall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lideuu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kendall misses with a takedown attempt - Lideuu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lideuu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lideuu wants it to stay on the feet.
Lideuu lands a jab to Kendall's midsection.

so Kendall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kendall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kendall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kendall shoots in and bounces Lideuu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kendall drops back looking for a leg! Lideuu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lideuu manages to kick Kendall off! Kendall jumps back into Lideuu's guard.

Lideuu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kendall dives in and grabs Lideuu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lideuu pushes down on Kendall's head and hops out.

and Kendall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lideuu won't be happy with that.

Kendall is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lideuu will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Lideuu is not content to let Kendall control the position.
Lideuu tries to escape back to his feet but Kendall has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Lideuu's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Lideuu is tapping! Kendall saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
